@alpvonkri I find #phonon backend #vlc sounds very clean on my !openSUSE 12.1 install. I removed #Xine backend as it did not sound as good.

Need to use #phonon with #jack? Use the #gstreamer backend. Well, at least I couldn't make it work with the #VLC backend :-)

@alpvonkri Last I checked, the Xine backend was deprecated and not maintained anymore, use the GStreamer backend for #Phonon.

Shit, found ot #Akregator was crashing sometimes because of #Xine #Phonon backend. But I can’t use any other with Jack.
