@lxoliva if you're talking about #stet, from #Affero -ish perspective it had hundreds of users
@bkuhn I do not recall #SFLC having publicly pledged to release #stet source.
@bkuhn I remind you that #stet was proprietary throughout drafting of #GPLv3.
no idea, ask @fontana ☺ |
although the #GPLv3 discussion software was #Stet: http://ur1.ca/9qsyb
@fontana,b/c I'm an honest man, I'll admit: Orion & I were just in love w/ idea that #stet was the only meta-licensing program ever written.
@fontana, #stet developed like #Bash: releases thrown over wall. License wasn't specified since AGPLv3 didn't exist yet, but C&CS available.
Anybody want to combine #stet or #co-ment and #etherpad? #collaborativeeditingwin
@fontana, yes, the #gitorious release of #stet had no exception; I emailed people at !SFLC to get that fixed a month or so ago.
@fontana, saying *I* did it is strange. I'm not a © holder on #stet, !SFLC (et al) are. If they asked, I'd have advised !AGPLv3 -or-later.
@segphault, #Co-ment is excellent & I consider it #stet 's intellectual heir. But,I wouldn't've pegged it to replace #Google Docs adequately
