I have now built 3 BSD boxes. I like. It takes longer to install and configure but in my opinion worth it for the level of control you get.

Wow it takes 11 GB of space to compile Openoffice from the source... kneeto.

48 Hours of Compiling.... Really? If I had know I would just have downloaded the binary... still no end in sight.

Compiling gnome and ALL of its dependencies at the same time was maybe a bad idea. working on 28 hours of compiling and no end in site.

Today marks Anniversary 6! We looked back at all our anniversaries, and they have always been at bad times in life. Hopefully not this year.

I love it when my law firm changes lawyers and doesn't tell me, and decides to push back a meeting without telling me. ARG!
