@ravenman I think it could work as long the package does not depend on anything "non-libre" (e. g. Parabola provides the dependencies).

@sinisterstuf No, the hashsums used right now only verify that the packages are not corrupted, but it's still possible to modify them.

@sinisterstuf Actually, I believe some work has been done already.

@sinisterstuf Yeah, like in "cryptographically signed" -- to ensure nobody has tampered with the packages.

Sigh, I would *love* !Arch (or rather pacman) to finally support and use signed packages. It's the only thing that's missing for me.

@abbe ReiserFS 3. Dunno if I should use Reiser4, I think it's not really being developed anymore...?

@drizztbsd I thought ReiserFS3 was considered stable; do you think the kernel devs could drop it because it's not being actively maintained?

First impression of #pacman DB w/ ReiserFS: Very fast. Faster than JFS. !archlinux

Now trying ReiserFS 3 for my #pacman partition. Previously used JFS, let's see how they compare -- felt faster than ext3. !archlinux

LastFMProxy lives! That code was/is a true mess, but it's getting better.

Latest Opera 11 snapshot (build 1140) feels snappy (hah!). Seems like there's one bug less, too (had some problems w/ Opera Link)!
