@micheleconnolly not intentionally, no. it might happen that identi.ca or twitter trunc them, if they need extra chars for encoding
-
@markusmerz problem with hashtags is that there is no real definition what is aloowed as a tag. I probably need to adapt it for identi.ca
-
@dansilva but it *should* work on XP...
-
@dansilva it can't work on Linux, secure store is not supported yet by AIR alpha for Linux
-
@dansilva are you on linux?
-
@kaplanmyrth thx for your message, we are considering multiple services for future use, and ping.fm could be an option.
-
@tekrat a little more API support is needed by laconi.ca to do it nicely and seamlessly, but yes, it's a good idea
-
@brandstaetter we are always considering adding new services, yes. Plurk has no API yet we could use, though.
-
@notafish hmm, Linux isn't officially supported yet, the AIR runtime is still in Alpha state. try re-applying your default browser setting
-
@notafish does it happen only for identi.ca, or also for twitter in twhirl? it could ba a wrong default browser setting. which version / OS?
-
@vascellari yes, that's a feature we are working on. stay tuned :-)
-
if you see SSL warnings pop up in twhirl, you are using twitter... they are using wrong certificates at the moment
-
@danyork yeah, identi.ca had some scaling issues. everything should be better again now
-
@kylemathews then we are on the same page ;-) I agree, a general laconi.ca support is a great idea
-
@kylemathews we need more server-side/API support to handle arbitrary installs, and also a real OpenMicroblogging implementation will help
-
@kayray well... that's what the community uses most... :-)
-
twhirl 0.8.4 released - adding support for identi.ca and seesmic. get it from http://www.twhirl.org and read more on http://blog.twhirl.org
-
@gregnotcraig yes, it has already been requested ;-) and yes, we will allow that in the future!
-
@philipp yes, we are working on something like that
