@sleepynate lol That would crush his entire life to learn he's a century behind.
-
@jaschon Apologies. He also said that he won't use browsers "for personal reasons"
-
@jaschon a while back he mentioned that he uses wget, mail and a daemon to fetch what pages he wants
-

@nathangrubb I also shouldn't try having discussions when I'm on cold medication. I don't really remember any of this.
-
@jgoguen From what I saw, someone filed a bug report in regards to it and then someone came along and called it a feature.
-
@maco I hope they do. But, right now, I don't trust them. And it's sad, because I always felt I could trust FOSS groups more than others.
-
@jgoguen My issue is the whole way that Ubuntu handled this. I expect more from Ubuntu then I do MS or Google. They greatly disappointed me.
-
@jgoguen But, we have seen it from MS. Win7. They changed a lot based on responses they got from testers. I was very impressed.
-
@maco Sincerely, thank you for the conversation and the debate. I enjoyed it, thoroughly and I hope we do this again on FOSS related topics.
-
@maco And how it was hidden then called a feature, and so on. This has been fun, but I have to be up early. I'm sure we'll cross paths later
-
@maco Who's to say it won't end up in the final? It's been referred to as a feature. I guess my biggest thing is how this has been addressed
-
@maco Don't know. I don't know the full extent of what they're collecting. But, if this we're MS doing this, people would be up in arms.
-
@maco That wasn't my point. My point had to do with MS now helping w/privacy and FOSS violating it, even if it's only in a small way.
