@null: http://bit.ly/9V5Zc9 says your processor maxes out at 100°C, so 90° is OK. Notebooks run hot, poor cooling. Maybe a notebook cooler?

@null: Depends on the CPU. Some can run very hot, others would be slag at that temp. 90°C does sound very high to me.

Two days of learning Python and PyGTK only to discover a better solution exists in the !ubuntu repos Ah well, didn't hurt to learn Python. ☺
