@cyberkiller interesting, so does kopete actually use xmpp chatrooms for that? as on XMPP-MUC the server splits the message, not the client

@cyberkiller: how do you expect encrypted multi user chat to work? it'll need a channel key, afaik xmpp[-servers] doesn't support that
