Ohio has a mixture of urban, suburban, and rural populations. This has been hitting us hardest in our urban populations as well as in our confined populations such as prisons as well as nursing homes. Ashtabula County authorities don't like talking about how high a percentage of both the infections and deaths from COVID-19 here stem from just the nursing homes. 111 cases are linked to nursing homes in Ashtabula County out of our 212. That's 52% of our cases in just two care facilities and adding in Lake Erie Correctional Institution in Conneaut (LAECI) gives us another 25 infected.
What's not being listened to in Dr. Acton speaking? GIVE EACH OTHER SPACE! Being packed in together like sardines is not good for you and the urban densification pipedreams I've seen out there do have potentially adverse human health consequences regardless of their purported positive environment saving outcomes.
