OPW Haters?

Bradley M. Kuhn at

So, this is a new anti-OPW (Outreach Program for Women) argument:

Someone argued to me today that the OPW program is funded by companies as a nefarious plan to get more female employees so that they can save 30% on salaries later on by hiring some of those women.

And I thought I was a conspiracy theorist!

It's at least as reasonable an argument as the one for apartheid enforcement because one doesn't want to compete with people who have the misfortune of being citizens of poorly run jurisdictions, ie those who oppose immigration on the grounds it will depress wages.
