Today at OSCON 2015, Marina Zhurakhinskaya, coordinator of Conservancy's Outreachy program, won an O'Reilly Open Source Award. Marina won the award for her work on Conservancy's Outreachy project.

Conservancy projects and contributors have a long history of receiving O'Reilly Open Source Awards. In previous years, winners of the award included Jeremy Allison (Conservancy Board member and a leader in the Samba Project), Karen Sandler (Conservancy's Executive Director), Bradley M. Kuhn (Conservancy President and Distinguished Technologist), and Martin Michlmayr (Conservancy Treasurer and Board member).

Conservancy congratulates Marina and the other 2015 O'Reilly Open Source Award winners.

Eyeballing https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/O%27Reilly_Open_Source_Award I wonder if there is a trend toward 100% of future winners being Conservancy supporters. :)
