pass has problems in that it leaks information about what accounts you have, without need to decrypt data to find that out

i don't mind the account name leaks that much. Big wins for me were the availability of android app which can use the same data and the use of yubikey.

Yeah I tried using Pass before, as well, and its file formats drove me crazy. And its another big pile of nightmare Bash code.
