Yep FIFA 16 comes out this month, but for now I’m sticking with FIFA 14, to see how far I can take it. There is a major caveat to that though. It looks like I’ll be taking a second job. These things can fall through (De Gea to Real Madrid, for example), but my expectation at this point is that I’ll be playing a lot less, which means I may not have monthly updates. Of course, the end of October is almost 2 months away, so maybe!

You’ll notice I dropped the Di Maria 89 IF card. It’s just too much money for him not to start, and to not have a reason to start him ever. I have Thiago Silva listed on my bench here, but as I mentioned last time, different tournaments have different requirements, so he is starting some.

Also, after another Division 1 loss, I am going to try the Ligue 1 season. I’ve already bought Sirigu and Cabaye to get my five. I’ll be starting Lavezzi and Cavani as well. I like Lavezzi’s speed and combination play with Cavani. The only thing I’m not real happy about is starting Cabaye. We’ll see how it goes. I’ll probably make a lot of early subs, which not be so bad.

I’m generally not opposed to first half subs if it isn’t working, but aside from the old Di Maria (which didn’t work out), I don’t really feel like I have any real game-changers on the bench. Agüero is much faster than Suarez, so he could be, but Suarez has 71 goals (15 assists) in 99 appearances while Agüero has 14 goals (8 assists) in 49 appearances. Of course, the Argentine is usually coming off the bench, which usually hurts his numbers. He was also listed as a CAM for a while, which obviously doesn’t put him as close to goal.
