Welcome to the duct taped glasses club!
Once the mediagoblin campaign ends I'm going to an optometrist, finally. I think my glasses have been "temporarily taped together" for 6 months.
Warby Parker (http://www.warbyparker.com/) gives a pair of glasses someone in need for each one bought, and are made of solid chunks of plastic. They are both maiki- and Clover-proof.
And that's the first time I've bought glasses online. Was wanting some prescription sunglasses anyway..
