@daw@microca.st I have a Prius V (non-plug-in hybrid) only because the Volt didn't have the physical storage capacity needed for the long distance vehicle. If you don't have a place to plug in then you'll lose most of the benefit of something like a Volt. A used regular hybrid may be your best bet at the moment, then, unless it would be parked at a workplace that provides power a good percentage of the time.
