Money

Money is the key for the power rich people have. So let’s change the way we use it. There are a lot of ways we can do that. To name a few:

  • Build a sharing economy with colleagues, friends and family without using money at all so that you share your things with others and they share their things with you without paying each other for these “lending services”. Of course you have to find the right people for this but a lot of them are out there :)
  • Don’t buy things you don’t need. Most times when you buy something you only need fresh food. Depending where you live you can drink water directly from the faucet without having to fear diseases so you don’t need to buy Nestlé bottled water or bottled water from other brands. It is unnecessary to buy a new Computer or smartphone every 3 years. They can still run GNU/Linux and are still fast enough for a lot of tasks even if they’re older than 10 years. In fact, I’m writing this on a notebook that is 10 years old ;)
  • Show solidarity with workers on strike, even if the strike affects your life (e.g. train not running because of a strike). Don’t let mainstream media sic you on those workers. Better conditions for workers means they do their job better and therefore you’ll get better services. Support workers who want to take over the companies they’re working in because this means they’re throwing out their bosses and rund the company by themselves and therefore save a lot of money that can be spent more effective to the benefit of the workers. Such companies are profitable as well.
  • Convince others that homelessness and worklessness is neither a crime nor a shame. The times where everyone had a job are over because of automation. Living in dignity should not depend on having a job. Don’t be fooled by mainstream media who tell you that homeless and workless people are just drunken loosers.

As said, there are a lot more things you can do for yourself and which will start a change in society.
