I remember years ago smeone brought a quite large (for an amateur optical telescope) telescope to an outdoor (music) festival I went to years ago.

he set it up in the carpark and soon a queue of people appeared lining up to look though it.

I looked too .. and saw a spectacular image of Saturn .. rings and all... pretty impressive
