Idea
Mozilla loves to spontaneously & unceremoniously kill things off. So here's a suggestion:
Kill off the "updated add-ons spawn new tabs that I didn't ask for whenever I open my browser" nonsense.
Seriously; what clown cooked that one up?

it is right there next to dropping Flash support.
Between the two, Flash is considerably more useful.
