Always a shame to part allegiance with a local pub, especially one that used to be a great place to be (but a too-expensive place to run, evidently). My blind support can only go so far.

Hopefully a continuing decline in takings will get the PubCo to realise that customers want interesting rather than inoffensive, and it costs a bit of money to make money. Eight cask handpulls but only two generic ales on ain't gonna get you very far in Liverpool centre.
