Used about 25 MBytes per song, 4 GBytes per album. All the old plastic circles are in under-bed storage, never to be seen again. !KWLUG

Faster drives are faster, so are faster CPUs & more cores. Transcoding to FLAC is the bottleneck, offload to a faster box !KWLUG
