Clean install Fedora15-64 on an older machine, default settings .. 1.2GB ram used just opening a terminal in Gnome :(

Got almost all of 2 dozen+ web apps running in ~/public_html with SELinux enabled on a test setup. What a nightmare. Took copious notes.

There is a user binary called ident among others in a prj, my mind 'autocorrected' it to inetd causing me all sorts of confusion.

On a related note. I'm glad I picked hg over git for my migration from svn.

Tortoisehg going to !qt from !gtk gives big improvements for both Windows and OSX as well as Linux. Good move.
