  1. Patrick Laimbock Patrick Laimbock Rahul Sundaram

@rahulsundaram I just built !Hotot 0.9.7.51 snapshot on F16. Seems to work well. Would you like me to email you the spec file?

  2. Patrick Laimbock Patrick Laimbock Fedora users , Rakotomandimby Mihamina

@rakotomandimby: the NetworkManager rpm has several cli tools: nmcli, nm-tool, nm-online. Did you try those?

  4. Patrick Laimbock Patrick Laimbock Fedora users , Osama Khalid

@osamak: shell extensions need to be enabled to actually start working. Don't ask me why. You can do it with gnome-tweak-tool

@djotaku: afaik just boot the !F16 kernel with nogpt which uses partitioning like it was with !Fedora 15 and older

@davidmn: you could try a 3.0 from http://is.gd/DqPxXv You may also have to install dependencies. yum localinstall —nogpgcheck kernel-3.0-…

  11. Patrick Laimbock Patrick Laimbock

@davidmn: it looks like gnome2 but is gnome3. I don't see why it goes to fallback if you have a modern 6630M. Maybe ask on irc in #fedora?

  12. Patrick Laimbock Patrick Laimbock

@davidmn weird. my laptop has an old ATI X1300 and I got F15 Gnome3 with the xorg-x11-drv-ati driver. Did it go to fallback mode?

about a year ago from Gwibber at The Hague, South Holland, Netherlands in context
  13. Patrick Laimbock Patrick Laimbock

@davidmn: doesn't current F15 xorg-x11-drv-ati just work? Or you could try catalyst driver from rpmfusion.org

  14. Patrick Laimbock Patrick Laimbock Fedora users , Moshe Njema

@nj3ma: !fedora 15 definitely boots faster than 14 on my laptop. And I still have to switch of unneeded services. Great work fedora people
