Hmmm yeah. And look how the US took a great idea that works wonderfully well in so many other countries - health care - and totally "Americanized" it. They not only made it useless and still unobtainable but they managed to destroy a great deal of the workforce and jobs at the same time. Two People's with one Bill? I agree that the government should be smaller, especially the federal government but I think they should also give a genuine hand to true health care and other such basic needs. Not the current government we have today though as obviously it has failed us for many, many years. Perhaps we have also failed it and ourselves.
