A lot of people argue that the spying on non-citizens with metadata limits the killing. I think I'd have a hard time figuring out what is right if I could be assured that no one be killed, but I had to live with metadata spying.

Of course, that's a choice we're not being presented with, so it's easy to say that since the USA government murders, then they can't justify the spying in any event.
