@Mike Linksvayer I definitely agree; I was highly tempted to use some sort of broader qualifier than a country or two, but then thought it might ruin the joke (which in a sense was based around the idea that the war we're in is far more of a quagmire than Vietnam was, and if you want the maximum metaphor/analogy/what have you, would be a better fit)
