Should be working on my LibrePlanet talk but I'm making such progress on the deployment system I'm writing in Guile that I don't really want to stop!

@joeyh So I looked at Propellor first! I was down with its git deployment and use of a reasonable language and everything.
But then I saw that it committed its whole source code as the first commit into my repo and at that point, I checked out. #gitpuns
Seriously what's up with that? How am I supposed to update with later propellor code? That really weirded me out.
But yes let's sit down and look at things together, please! :)

Chris: "I looked at these, they all don't do X" is how every one of the... 1000? one-off deployment systems came to be. Just acknowledging that.
Context: my team's job is to manage the deployment system(s) at WMF. Creating yet another one is rarely the right solution for even us with our very specialized use case.
@Greg Grossmeier Sure, and maybe it will go nowhere. Maybe it will! Sometimes ya gotta hack to find out!
