Here's a MediaGoblin update from me (paroneayea) and Jessica Tallon (Tsyesika). This is her first full time week on MediaGoblin!

<paroneayea> my brain isn't good enough for me to remember myself, so I take
advantage of orgmode's auto-tracking tools
<paroneayea> so, let's see. I did the following:
<paroneayea> - I wrote up a draft "contract" or "expectations document" for
Tsyesika starting. We've submitted that to the FSF to review

<paroneayea> - I found issues with the CSV files the FSF gave me for the
export regarding ordering campaign rewards. They sent me back
some fixes but there are still issues, so I reviewed and sent
those back
<paroneayea> - so rewards are still waiting on those, though we're at the
point where we can probably order the actual rewards since we
have "good enough" info on the approximate numbers of things
(we'll just have to order some extra t-shirts, but that's not bad
to have)
<paroneayea> - Tsyesika, freedeb and I had a call about her starting and
doing an overview/plan of some things (the next release, what
tsyesika should focus on, etc)
<paroneayea> - For the "+1 donor-voted feature" thing, I wrote up a list of
all the suggestions I've gotten from the community and sent to
freedeb and tsyesika for an overview, with my comments on which
ones I think are feasible
<paroneayea> - Started doing review for what needs to happen with 0.7.0. I
have a general list, I'd like to have a mini-meeting in here to
discuss after this
<paroneayea> - semi-related to mediagoblin, had a meeting about improving
free software messaging... more will be announced about that soon
<paroneayea> - helped tsyesika debug a bit

<paroneayea> - did ticket review with R13ose and mergeda bunch of stuff
<paroneayea> that's it

<Tsyesika> I've fixed a few minor bugs on the image upload endpoint and also
I've made it work exactly how pump'io's API works
<Tsyesika> - I've then updated the documentation for the media API and made it
more general than being just image specific too and talked about it
in terms of media (though i have mentioned how we currently only
support images)
<Tsyesika> - I fixed the API then to only allow uploaders to submit images
(previously it ignored mediagoblin's privilage system)
<Tsyesika> - I had a meeting with you and freedeb
<Tsyesika> - I gave my responses on the +1 donor feature
<Tsyesika> - I added the ability to update existing media's title,
description, licence, etc.
<Tsyesika> - I then have mostly done unit tests with 2 more issues to fix
really i think

<paroneayea> nah they're fine
<paroneayea> I barely look at them
<paroneayea> they're just for filtering
<paroneayea> I add a buffer agenda restriction lock to mediagoblin.org only to
speed things up
<paroneayea> I switch to week view, if not already, and move back a week
<paroneayea> I turn on log display
<paroneayea> (I have orgmode automatically mark "closed" when I'm done with
things, and I use the clocking features sometimes)
<paroneayea> and I turn on "show all entries from archive/archive file"
<paroneayea> so even if I've archived things away to the archive file, they
show up
<Tsyesika> i... see
<paroneayea> that way all that information is collected in the background as I
work, and I don't really have to think about it until I review
<paroneayea> it's helpful for generating invoices
<Tsyesika> i see :P
