Screwed up 'git send-email'? What did you want it to do?
Oh, you mean you intended to do --thread?

I should have used --cover-letter to write the patch 0 message, but I didn't and then I told 'git send-email' to make a new thread for each patch without realizing. Newbie mistake.
As you may or may not have seen on the list, I am grappling with getting git send-mail to do what I want, too. :-)
