Agreed. Which is why folk complaining about the web interface are missing the point.
For some folks, the interface is all they know, and they aren't inclined or able to fix it. They're still valid users, though, even though they may always miss the point. A list of such complaints can function as an aid to prioritizing for developers.
That may be true, but as Evan said six months ago:
'If you're worried right now, make a backup of your identi.ca account. Even better, set up a StatusNet site on your own servers and start using it.'
