It was more of a general thing, so I'm sure you're right about it being down to shared influences.  But also a few specifics: I'm sure "Blush Response" is reminding me of something FSOL-ish, and "Rachel's Theme" was making me think of "Everyone in the World Is Doing Something Without Me".
