Exede sattelite internet filters nothing at all.. except for gpg sks keyserver traffic. WTF???
Or, gpg was ignoring my --keyserver for its own inscrutable reasons.
So which was it, in the end?
It was something I still don't understand with gpg 2 ignoring --keyserver but also not using the default one when dirmngr is not configured
