I sold most of my CDs around 2005 with the expectation that in the near future I would be purchasing, downloading, and listening to MP3s instead.
At the time I did take a backup of the CDs but I'm not sure if I still have it, and I don't miss any of my music collection.

Strangely I deleted a lot of my music collection that I had for more than a couple of years, as my tastes had changed a little and it's so easy to get it back again as new.
