EFF Untrusted?

laurelrusswurm at

When #Firefox gets its knickers in a twist about self signed certificates, people who don't understand how the process works
 (read: most of the world)
get hit with the "Untrusted" warning, and are then frightened away from visiting self hosted sites.

Personally, I trust most self hosted sites far more than I do, say #GoDaddy, or #NSA.

How many ordinary people are going to fear #EFF after this?

No, but I do have a NoScript, Request Policy, Ad Block Plus and Ghostery active on Firefox.

@laurelrusswurm i think (may be wrong) that adblock plus is the one who's dev makes a living taking payments from ad agencies to let their ads through. it has been forked, adblock edge will protect you from all the ad agencies who are paying mr adblock plus
