As I’m certain you, a professional scientist, know, copyright in journal articles (except for a few enlightened, mostly online, journals) legally belongs to the publishing company, not the author.To hell with that implication that knowing about stupid, peculiar and onerous details of copyright is an expectation of a professional scientist. They have more important things to focus on. But that's true of everyone, just more blatantly obvious for the "professional scientist" subset of humanity. :)
