Hey http://cweiske.de/tagebuch/gitorious-post-receive-hook-2.htm is someone else using a faded sidebar.
Opened after doing a search to see what hooks gitorious.org supports (above not relevant actually) which seemed to have an answer of NONE at https://gitorious.org/gitorious/pages/WebHooks which states
"Note: this page is currently intended for local Gitorious installations, since this feature is not offered as part of Gitorious.org yet."
But digging around the UI, that seems out of date, but I haven't tested and who knows what Gitorious AS intended to deploy, so I added to that wiki page (wiki seems to be in git, but no UI for diffing wiki repo)
"20150122: note appears to be out of date, as https://gitorious.org/PROJECT/REPO/services/web_hook seems to allow one to set up web hooks on Gitorious.org"
Also it seems gitorious only has a hook for pushes, compare with https://developer.github.com/webhooks/ or between the two https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab-ce/blob/master/doc/web_hooks/web_hooks.md
