
Over the years I've skimmed a few articles about darcs and 'patch theory' never gaining much more than a hint of understanding. Now that I've read https://jneem.github.io/merging/ and https://jneem.github.io/pijul/ maybe I finally get it: retaining more info obtains more flexibility.
