I'm inclined to agree with a sentiment I've often seen posted on Twitter: "I'll believe there are good cops when they turn in the bad ones."
By that standard, the closest I've seen is Christopher Dorner. And we know what happened to him.

If you can only say "good cop" and "bad cop", then you're off course. Nobody is entirely good or bad all of the time.

As I said above, it is really not about whether an individual cop is "good" or "bad" ... the expectations of their supervisors and peers is that:
- Everyone is a "perp" but some have just not been caught yet.
- It is acceptable to abuse citizens because everyone knows they are perps.
- Because it is acceptable to abuse perps, it is not acceptable to report police abuse.
