due to issues with how hard Chromium is to run on embedded / EGL boards, where each configuration seems to require a lot of low-level hacking ... with every release.

Admittedly, it'd be more interesting to see them use Servo, but that's probably long term. Then again, AGL itself is a slow-moving project in its own right.

In any case, it's nice to hear that there's a use case out there for embeddable Firefox.
