Looking for a recommendation

If you know anybody who understands Blender well and is a good writer, we'd like to find somebody interested in writing up a look at a new Blender release.

I've done it in the past, but since I never use Blender for projects of my own, I'm never going to be the best at explaining things, and it's also going to be incredibly time-consuming and difficult to get to that eventual level of mediocrity.

Alternatively, if you can recommend ways to slow down Blender development so that there's less to talk about in each release, that would work, too. But let's call that plan B.

@Bassam Kurdali would be a great option btw, if he has time!

Cool. We'd still need to talk to any of the people you could put us in touch with (that and probably see some of their writing samples), of course; this is still very much in the early stage. More than a few details involved.

@Nathan Willis I emailed you an introduction. BTW, Fateh and Bassam helped hugely with the writing for the script for both MediaGoblin campaigns' videos, as well as providing much technical help in figuring out Blender issues. They also helped us write up some grant proposal stuff, including our application to the Knight News Challenge. They're also the main people behind the FSF User Lib video. Bassam is more the Blenderhead/artist, and Fateh is more the writer, but they tend to work as a team.
