Majestatea Sa Regele Mihai în Sala Tronului din Palatul Regal, în anii ‘40 (clădirea Palatului Regal este cea care adăpostește azi Muzeul Național de Artă al României, în Piața Revoluției). Trei dintre coloanele originale din lemn ce susțin baldachinul Tronului se păstrează și azi. Un fragment din tapiseria de catifea mov se află la Palatul Elisabeta, pe perete, în spatele jilțului folosit azi de Rege. Tronul României (fotoliul propriu-zis) a fost folosit de comuniști ca decor de teatru și distrus într-un incendiu de la studiourile Buftea. Aceasta nu este doar o informație istorică: românii își vor Regele înapoi pe tron!
