I'm confused about why people are upset—you sign a copyright assignment which already lets them create a proprietary fork. The IndieGoGo reward just lets someone else do that. Agreed, that's an extremely inexpensive proprietary license, but why is the chance a 3rd party who gets this license creates a proprietary version any worse than the copyright owners doing it?
