I'd like to see a media license that would have two restrictions:

1) media released could not be converted then distributed using any patent-encumbered codecs.

2) when hosted on a website, downloads of the media must not be prohibited.

CC-ND would've addressed the first condition, except they make an explicit exception for such conversions. Creative Commons includes a restriction against adding DRM to such modified versions, but I should like to go further and not have my works used to promote the proliferation of closed, proprietary media formats.

The second condition isn't quite as important, but would seem a fair enough request.
