I've been running #Xfce for about a month now and my only big complaint is the lack of decent PDF viewer. MuPDF is nice as a viewer but it's lack of printing support is a bit of a let down. Worst case is I install Okular I guess.
Have you tried evince. I like it.
Last time I tried Evince the printing support was terrible. Maybe it's time to look at it again.
