I've started to track the nutrition in my diet with MyFitnessPal (this particular app just because of a nice UI and food database that contains the brands I buy) to see if I'm eating too much fatty or salty food and if my water intake counters it much. I'm trying to reduce the size of my meals' portions alongside.

If yesterday's dinner hadn't changed to pizza then I wouldn't have gone over my fat/sat fat/calorie recommendation; I suspect my typical day is ~150kcal under but a little fatty/carby.
