The only roguelike I've ever beaten is Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup with a Gargoyle Fighter + Makhleb, aka "easy mode"...

Definitely not easy. I have played the game many many times. A few times I have died at level 24.

This time I played as a Huntress. Scroll of Wipe Out helped lot in last levels. :-)

yeah those damned kung-fu dwarf monks usually take me out. I did get past them once to that dwarf king boss and stupidly followed the sign leaving my weapons outside, even though I thought it might be a trap

yeah it was anti-newbie trap, there goes the best character I ever had
