Oops. https://github.com/libreboard/libreboard/issues/92 is definitely a bad start, but they seem to be doing the right thing now and they seem to have attracted a lot of interest. Hope they will come back with a reconstructed and sanitized version soon.
Yes, that is my understanding as well. They were off to a bad start, but are now on the right path. (Also, I suspect the de facto change in maintainer has helped a lot.)
