@mariosk8s if you just want vnc/rdp try vncviewer, vinagre, xvncviewer, etc. http://bit.ly/T8Jx60

@psquid from the site, it appears to be a virtualmachine system that uses VNC for the connection. so a combination of virtualbox & vncviewer

@mariosk8s you asked about NoMachine alternatives. Isn't NoMachine a vm environment?

  4. Doug Penner Doug Penner Mario Theodoridis

@mariosk8s I use virtualbox, but i've heard good things about xen and vmware as well. some vmware versions require a license though.

@laurelrusswurm that case wasn't in Canada, but I do recall hearing about something similar in Canada now that you mention it.

@laurelrusswurm they *can* copyright the photo they took of the glass plate.

  7. Doug Penner Doug Penner Erkan Yılmaz

@erkanyilmaz I have used lynks and that doesn't solve the problems of css navigation menus, different layouts, javascript-only-content, etc.

@samatjain personally I'd prefer all the websites look the same in my browser :)

@stav name *ONE* company that forces any 3rd party hardware manufacturer to update legacy devices.

  10. Doug Penner Doug Penner Michał Andrzej Woźniak

@rysiek color inversion in hex is really just character replacement (0=F, 1=E, 2=D, ..., E=1, F=0). character replacement is what sed DOES.

@jaimealsilva not sure what debian has, but wicd is pretty solid (has gui, cli and curses interfaces)

@kopolee11 tagging and grouping are *hardly* new ideas, they've been around a LOT longer than diaspora.

  18. Doug Penner Doug Penner Michael Mehrazar

@kopolee11 other than a black bar at the top and 3-column content, I don't really see how it's anymore similar to diaspora than facebook...

  19. Doug Penner Doug Penner Firefox , identicats

FFS people, stop feeding the troll already. Every one of his posts is a flame-bait question that even newspapers would be too ashamed to run

@orvtech helpful hints are fine, but only send them once and one of the "ls" was supposed to be "sl". you copy-pasted the mistake *again*
