So basically it looks like identi.ca (and by extension, pump.io) has basically become Google Plus.
I can write as much as I like and share it with my circles. Is this annoying? Or is this meaningful? What happens when what used to be Twitter now has the potential or long-form posts?X11R5 likes this.

Wow, I got to literally watch my client crash as the Twitter v1 API was retired a few hours ago. Back up and running now, tho.2013-06-11T23:31:46+00:00 via Identi.cli To: Public

It's frustrating how papers use the term "public domain" outside of its copyright definition.2013-06-07T14:23:29+00:00 via Identi.cli To: Public
The problem with working on projects forever by yourself is that you think of so many inside jokes that nobody else will ever get.2013-06-07T14:01:58+00:00 via Identi.cli To: Public

Oh, another good one. I could use "third generation", since that sounds kind of pro and is still accurate.2013-06-04T14:50:05+00:00 via Identi.cli To: Public
It's *really* hard to try to make assembly programming sound fun and relevent dispite. "It's limited and constrained - in a good way!"2013-06-04T14:48:52+00:00 via Identi.cli To: Public
Thanks for all the ideas, folks! So far, I'm liking the terms 'nostalgic, archaic, historical'.2013-06-04T14:38:57+00:00 via Identi.cli To: Public
I'm trying to find a term that means "obsolete" without the dismissive connotations. Any ideas?2013-06-04T02:35:16+00:00 via Identi.cli To: Public
Huh... @coursera's got forum badges now? Ironically, I didn't see them in @kwerb's #gamification13 course. :)2013-06-04T02:02:04+00:00 via Identi.cli To: Public
What I meant to say here's a link that reflects the kind of hackery I want to inspire with #8bitmooc. http://t.co/3Sk1s3fKwY2013-06-04T02:01:09+00:00 via Identi.cli To: Public

I hate Moodle. And by Moodle, I mean the outdated hosted version that my university makes me use.2013-06-03T17:21:40+00:00 via Identi.cli To: Public
I giggle at the thought of a grad student one day qualitatively tagging my MOOC forum posts as part of a study.2013-06-03T14:35:31+00:00 via Identi.cli To: Public
I wish @coursera would run its own IRC server and integrate that in its course webpages. Or profs would embed webchat in their courses.
