With docker you don't have to (but still can) use SELinux for protection; it's a secure chroot (or more accurately, a container)
-
@ddevine Sounds like a job for #docker (http://docker.io) (disclaimer: I'm really excited about the possibilities for docker.)
-
@jfm I've run others (phpstorm) with openjdk and it seemed fine, but there's a warning about performance issues with it
-
@marjoleink Not sure if that will make too much of a difference, but I might give it a try (before jumping ship to chromium for awhile)

iceweasel locked up for the second time today :( #debian

@praetoriuss #choqok it's up to the community to implement. #hotot ?

Call me old fashioned I guess :P

Also, calling lack of confidence a "freak out" is a stretch

I tend to not leave things broken in master. If I'm expecting breakage, I do it in a branch to later merge. Trust me, it's better that way.

I'm a software developer, so I know all too well. My original statement however, stands.

The old proverb: "The road to hell is paved with good intentions" seems quite fitting WRT #systemd
-
@mcnalu There are people (myself included) that have concluded systemd isn't a good solution to the problem it set out to accomplish
-
Works for me

@gerlos Something like this: http://is.gd/OJn04T could be run nightly from cron to remove kernels older than 90 days
