although i want to like firefox, i just came to the conclusion firefox is not for me. i simply cannot understand its profile and sync style

!kde !rekonq is also very nice. !qupzilla also. I guess we cannot complain much about firefox or chrome dependence :)

thanks for the replies, !kde guys.i actually tend to use Singular names,kinda like database table names. but have been thinking changing it

!springpad revisited. amazing design but simple things are weird : desc. text compressed, cannot completly edit notes,etc.works great though

disabled all gnome startup daemons on my !kde session. rebooted. started kde. heard the startup sound almost 15 seconds sooner than before.

@kete tried that, checked fontconfig. tried .gtkrc-2.0 checking if all alright. checked settings.ini in gtk3 config folder.tried tweak-tool
